Collaboration Creates Opportunity: Highlights from Erie Together's ECCPA and Career Street Initiatives

When educators, employers, workforce partners, labor organizations, and community stakeholders work together around a shared vision, students and our region benefit.

That belief is at the heart of Erie Together’s Erie County Career Pathways Alliance (ECCPA) and Career Street initiatives, which continue to strengthen connections between education and the workplace locally.

The highlights shared below represent just some of the results achieved during the 2025-26 school year through the collective efforts of our partners. While no single summary can capture the full scope of the work, these examples demonstrate the impact that is possible when organizations align around a common goal: helping young people explore opportunities, develop skills, and prepare to meet employers’ needs.

Throughout the year, we worked together to create impactful career-connected learning experiences for students. Through career days, classroom speakers, employer tours, job shadows, career fairs and special initiatives such as the Skilled Trades Fair and Multi-District Industry Club, students gained valuable exposure to careers available throughout our region, and employers had opportunities to help shape the future workforce.

The 2025-26 highlights represent some of the outcomes made possible through these collaborative efforts. We invite you to explore the summary below to learn more about the impact being made through Erie Together’s ECCPA and Career Street initiatives. Behind every statistic are employers who opened their doors, educators who connected learning to careers, schools that prioritized career readiness, and community partners who helped create meaningful opportunities for students.

We thank all of them.
